Job summary

Mahajan Spine & Joint in Fargo, ND is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to evaluate, diagnose and manage patients with spine and joint pain in a multidisciplinary pain and regenerative medicine practice under physician supervision.

You will care for both new and established patients, develop comprehensive treatment plans, coordinate care across conventional and regenerative modalities, and participate in a comprehensive training program provided by Dr. Mahajan.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients presenting with spine and joint pain to determine diagnoses.
• Manage new patient consultations and established patient follow-ups.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, CT, X-ray, EMG/NCS).
• Develop treatment plans incorporating conventional therapies, interventional procedures and regenerative options.
• Provide longitudinal care and chronic disease management for spine/joint/nerve pain.
• Prescribe and manage non-opioid pain therapies per guidelines and protocols.
• Perform or assist with office-based injections and procedures as delegated.
• Recommend and coordinate orthotics, bracing, physical therapy, and referrals.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR and ensure compliant billing.
