Requirements include a Master of Science in Nursing and active Illinois APRN licensure; ACLS desirable; CPR required. Base salary varies by location and experience with comprehensive benefits described.

Qualifications

• MSN required to practice as Nurse Practitioner
• Active licensure as Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois
• ACLS desirable; CPR required
• History of demonstrated clinical judgment and professional integrity

Responsibilities

• Performs initial patient evaluation and treatment under physician supervision
• Assists in hospital rounds and surgical procedures as needed
• Performs joint aspirations/injections and interprets X-rays
• Maintains accurate medical records and documentation
• Participates in clinical research and academic activities as needed
• Provides triage and fielding of physician calls
