Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with our spine and interventional pain management team. The role includes evaluating patients, assisting in both surgical and clinic settings, and delivering comprehensive orthopedic care.

The NP will work under the supervision of physicians, participate in rounds, and manage pre- and post-operative care. The ideal candidate holds an MSN or Nurse Practitioner program credential, Illinois APRN licensure, and

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Nurse Practitioner program completion.
• Active Illinois APRN license.
• ACLS desirable; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Secure patient history and physical, document in medical record.
• Assist surgeon with rounds and operative procedures.
• Prepare and position patient, drape and instrument as needed.
• Perform minor procedures, wound care and catheter insertion.
• Provide post-operative care, interpret X-rays, and participate in on-call duties.
• Dictate H&Ps, consultations and discharge summaries.
• Conduct clinic visits, order tests, and develop treatment plans under physician supervision.
