Qualifications

• English language proficiency and licensure requirements are defined by VA standards.
• Nursing education background with ADN/ Diploma or BSN per VA qualifications.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. state licensure and VA credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent, evidence-based education to staff and training for nursing staff.
• Serves as trainer for Resuscitation Education Initiative (REDI) and BLS instructor certification.
• Performs learning needs assessments and develops clinical trainings.
• Monitors BLS/ALS compliance and coordinates mock codes.
• Supports nurse residency programs with curriculum development and simulation-based learning.
• Collaborates with interprofessional teams for education activities and evaluations.
• Reviews current nursing literature and proposes practice/documentation revisions.
