Responsibilities

  • Champion a safety-first culture by identifying potential hazards and ensuring safety protocols.
  • Develop complex spherical optics on precision CNC Generators, High-Speed Polishers, and centering machine.
  • Implement advanced machining strategies and tooling designs for continuous improvement.
  • Optimize cycle times, toolpaths, feeds/speeds, and work holding to improve quality and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and metrology to resolve technical challenges.
  • Diagnose and resolve machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, programming, and equipment behavior.
  • Partner with maintenance and vendors to address machine performance, repeatability issues, or reliability concerns.
  • Analyze machining performance using SPC, capability studies, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Define process specifications and control limits; utilize statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) to evaluate process capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform hands-on process.

This position is for a highly skilled, innovative, and motivated Process Engineer to join the ASML Wilton Factory Optical Fabrication team. This role supports daily manufacturing operations, drives continuous improvement, and partners closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to advance equipment capability and product performance.

Role and responsibilities
  • Champion a safety-first culture by identifying potential hazards, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring all work adheres to established EHS safety protocols
  • Develop complex spherical optics on precision CNC Generators, High-Speed Polishers, and centering machine.
  • Implement advanced machining strategies and tooling designs for continuous improvement efforts.
  • Optimize cycle times, toolpaths, feeds/speeds, and work holding to improve quality and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and metrology to resolve technical challenges and implement sustainable solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, programming, and equipment behavior.
  • Partner with maintenance and vendors to address machine performance, repeatability issues, or reliability concerns.
  • Analyze machining performance using SPC, capability studies, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Define process specifications and control limits; utilize statistical analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) to evaluate process capabilities and drive data-driven decision-making and maintaining 6P=P from feasibility to production-readiness phases
  • Perform hands-on process
