Job summary

Letort Spring Nursing and Rehab in Carlisle is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services in our skilled nursing facility. Letort Spring Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our skilled nursing facility in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This role is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing speech-language therapy programs to help residents regain communication and swallowing functions and improve overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services in accordance with established standards and facility procedures
• Evaluate residents and obtain data necessary for effective treatment planning
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including targeted interventions and short- and long-term goals
• Implement therapy programs addressing communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders
• Educate residents, families, and staff on speech-language strategies to support continued progress
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Master’s degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates considered
• BLS Certification required
