Job summary

Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will help residents achieve the highest level of independence and quality of life.

We offer both full-time and PRN opportunities within a resident-centered rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current PA SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents to identify speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each resident’s needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based speech therapy services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Complete timely documentation: evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, discharge summaries.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, communication strategies, and swallowing safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, dietitians, and other team members.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support positive outcomes.

Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Current Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply if applicable.

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long‑term care setting is preferred but not required.

  • Knowledge of dysphagia assessment and treatment.

  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate, patient‑centered approach to care.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
