Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Mohegan Lake, NY is seeking a per diem Speech-Language Pathologist for our outpatient clinic. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to work with both pediatric and adult patients, with referrals coming from NYU.

As a CCC-SLP with NY licensure, you will evaluate communication needs, develop targeted treatment plans, and collaborate with families and caregivers to support home exercises and progress in a welcoming, patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP).
• Must have experience working with both pediatrics and adults.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem SLP to work in our outpatient clinic located in Mohegan Lake. Hours are flexible based on your convenience. We have just partnered NYU and will be receiving referrals directly from their system.

Job Type: Per Diem

Pay rate: $60/hour
