Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who is licensed and ready to lead while continuing hands-on patient care. You will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring therapists and coordinating care.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, developing therapy plans, administering treatments, and driving quality improvement across the team in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
