Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who is a licensed clinician and eager to lead while continuing hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, and develop effective therapy plans.

You will evaluate patients, administer skilled treatments, and mentor staff to foster development, quality improvement, and strong patient outcomes within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• CPR/BLS required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
