Job summary

Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab unit in Queens, Jamaica, NY. You will provide comprehensive therapy services and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote residents' independence.

CCC certification and SNF experience are required. Must have strong documentation skills and be able to work flexible hours on a per diem basis as part of our growing team.

Qualifications

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Must have CCC's and be licensed to practice as an SLP in the state employed.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills and experience with electronic documentation.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language pathology services to residents in a sub-acute/SNF setting.
• Work with the rehab team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

Overview A Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP,CCC), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Queens Jamaica, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish. Must have CCC's. Job Requirements

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
• Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
• Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist, (ST / SLP), license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
• Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
• Work well with others in a team setting
• Be flexible with hours
• Must have CCC's
• Must have SNF experience.

Good Faith Rate Range: $55.00 - $60.00
