Preferred Therapy Solutions, LLC seeks a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/CCC) for our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department in Utica, NY. The role supports a fast-paced environment, collaborates with rehab and nursing teams, and offers flexible hours and generous PTO for full and part-time staff.

Candidates must hold a current SLP license (or be license eligible in New York), have strong documentation skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic records.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license in New York or license-eligible.
• Strong documentation skills and timely record-keeping.
• Experience in sub-acute/skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Work collaboratively with rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
• Deliver skilled SLP services in a fast-paced SNF environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and progress.

Overview:A Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP,CCC), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Utica, NY. Once hired as part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local PRN rosters as you wish.The Pines at Utica is conveniently located near downtown Utica. The facility has an award-winning rehabilitation team and an experienced rehab director who works well with his team to offer accommodating and convenient hours for his therapists. This is a fast-paced facility that offer both short term rehabilitation and long term care caseloads. We are searching for a team oriented therapists who can add to our ability to provide the best care for our patients and residents.
