Job summary

Fleetwood Post Acute in Easley, SC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN work. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians, families, and care teams to deliver patient-centered therapy.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, potential full-time opportunities, and a supportive interdisciplinary rehab team in a 102-bed skilled facility. Licensure in SC and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Must meet all federal/state requirements for SLP practice
• Must maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning
• Conduct in-service training and staff education
