What is a Home Health Speech Therapist?

A Home Health Care Speech Therapist administers speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence.

What does a Home Health Speech Therapist do?

A Home Health Care Speech Therapist provides a thorough assessment of the patient's condition and works with the individual and their caregivers to build a goals-focused treatment plan. This is performed following the physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services / Clinical Manager.

What are the qualifications for a Home Health Speech Therapist?

• Currently licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state(s) in which practicing
• Two years of experience, preferred

Do you need home health care experience to be a Home Health Physical Therapist?
