VocoVision is expanding our team of virtual speech-language pathologists with a position focused on language and literacy disorders for students in Lexington, Kentucky. Join our innovative platform connecting qualified SLPs with students who need specialized communication support in a virtual environment.

  • Full-time position (35-37.5 hours weekly)
  • Elementary and middle school focus (grades K-8)
  • Caseload of approximately 45-55 students
  • Emphasis on language-based literacy disorders
  • Integration of speech-language goals with curriculum

Core Responsibilities

  • Evaluate speech, language, and literacy skills through virtual assessments
  • Develop IEP goals that support language foundations for reading and writing
  • Provide targeted therapy for comprehension, narrative skills, and phonological awareness
  • Create curriculum-based therapy activities that support academic success
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and reading specialists
  • Implement evidence-based literacy intervention strategies
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and educational planning
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of student progress

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with language and literacy disorders
  • Knowledge of the language-literacy connection and intervention
  • Experience with virtual therapy delivery preferred
