Albuquerque NM Virtual Speech Therapist - Early Intervention SLP Specialist

VocoVision is recruiting a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual early intervention services for young students in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our innovative teletherapy platform connects qualified SLPs with students who need specialized communication support from the comfort of familiar environments.

Position Details
  • 35-37.5 hours per week virtual therapy schedule
  • Early childhood and elementary focus (PreK-3)
  • Caseload of approximately 45-50 young students
  • Emphasis on early language development and articulation
  • Parent coaching and consultation component
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct age-appropriate speech and language evaluations via virtual platform
  • Develop play-based therapy goals for young children
  • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate virtual therapy sessions
  • Guide parents and teachers in supporting communication development
  • Implement evidence-based early intervention strategies
  • Track and document progress using age-appropriate measures
  • Participate in virtual IEP meetings and parent consultations
  • Create family-friendly home practice activities
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid New Mexico SLP license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with early childhood intervention
  • Knowledge of developmental communication milestones
  • Experience with virtual therapy delivery preferred
  • Strong understanding of play-based intervention
  • Excellent rapport-building skills with young children and families
