Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to design and implement therapy programs that improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options with competitive pay, full benefits, and career growth opportunities.

New grads and Clinical Fellows are welcome. We are a fully in-house therapy team committed to supporting your growth with mentorship and the tools you need to succeed.

Qualifications

• Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to sit for board exams.
• Experience preferred, but new grads and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.
• Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct treatment to improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
• Collaborate with residents and staff to tailor individualized care plans.

Your Impact:

As aSpeech Therapist (SLP), you will:

• Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.

• Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.

• Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.

• Deliver direct treatment to help patients improve speech, language, and swallowing function.

• Work closely with residents and staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans.

What We’re Looking For:

• State of Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist License–or eligible to sit for board exams

• Experience preferred – but we’re also willing to invest in new grads and Clinical Fellows!
