The Speech Therapist in Home Health at Mental Health Association of Rochester assesses, treats patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments to improve communication and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Provide speech therapy services within legal scope, following the care plan, and collaborating with the healthcare team
• Assess patient functionality using diagnostic tests and assist in developing therapy plans with physicians
• Conduct treatment to enhance communication skills based on patient condition
• Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to supervisors
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy techniques and participation

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the resident state
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit
• Availability for weekend rotations

Compensation & Benefits
