Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide home health services, assessing and treating patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders in their homes in Beaumont, Kentucky.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team, document progress, and educate patients and families on therapy techniques while ensuring compliance with state practice laws. A valid state license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and access to transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.
• Provide services within state practice laws and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient function using diagnostic tests and assist in developing therapy plans with physicians.
• Treat patients to improve communication and functional abilities.
• Monitor, record, and report patient responses and condition changes.
