Job summary

Wabash General Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat a broad range of communication and swallowing disorders. The role involves working with patients, families, and the care team to promote recovery and functional communication.

Competent in assessing and treating pediatric and adult clients, with preference for experience in Modified Barium Swallows. Strong communication and teaching skills are essential for effective patient education and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Competent with a wide variety of speech, language, pragmatic, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and voice disorders.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallows preferred.
• Must have good communication and interaction skills to promote positive relationships with patients, families, visitors, coworkers, physicians.
• Must be able to provide training and education to patients, families, and staff.

Description
