Job summary

Questar III BOCES is seeking a full-time Speech Therapist to support K-2 classrooms. The role involves delivering articulation therapy and language skills in alignment with NYS standards and student IEPs.

You will collaborate with teachers, TAs, and other service providers in an embedded SLP model. The ideal candidate holds NYS certification in Speech/Language, preferably with a License of Clinical Competency, and experience with Special Education students.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS school certification in Speech/Language.
• Preferred NYS License of Clinical Competency.
• Experience with Special Education students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech articulation therapy as well as expressive and receptive language skills in accordance with NYS education standards and student IEPs.

About the Job

Questar III BOCES announces a vacancy for a full-time (9/1/2025 to 6/30/2026) Speech Therapist. This position will deliver speech articulation as well as expressive and receptive language skills in accordance with NYS education standards and student IEP's. The ideal candidate will work in a team environment with teachers, TAs, and other related service providers as an embedded SLP in K-2 classrooms. The school serves children with autism and other handicapped conditions.

Qualifications:

• Proper NYS school certification in Speech/Language required (candidates who just completed a certification program will be considered).
• Preferred candidates will have their NYS License of Clinical Competency and experience working with Special Education students.
