Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient adult services on a per diem basis at Glenbrook Hospital, with potential floating to Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals. Role involves day shifts and per diem scheduling.

The ideal candidate holds an IL license, ASHA-accredited master's, and at least 1 year of inpatient experience, with BLS/CPR certification and a focus on comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by ASHA.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in IL required.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of independent adult inpatient SLP experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to adult patients referred by physicians.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Participate in the clinical supervision of students.

Hourly Pay Range:

$39.44 - $61.13 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist – Inpatient Adult – Per Diem
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital. May require floating to Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals
• Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem (as needed per 6-week schedule)
• Hours: Days

What you will do:

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to adult physician referred patients
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
• Participate in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from a University program accredited by the American Speech Language Hearing Association
• License: Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required
• Certification: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association
• Experience: Minimum 1-year independent adult inpatient speech therapy experience required
