Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II for outpatient pediatric services in Skokie, IL. The role supports evaluation, treatment, and follow-up with complex/atypical cases, emphasizing comprehensive diagnostics and tailored treatment planning.

Licensed IL SLP with ASHA-credentialed master’s degree and BLS/CPR certification is required; pediatric experience is preferred. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and a rich benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• IL license as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Experience in pediatric populations preferred (complex/atypical conditions).

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to the pediatric patient population with complex or atypical conditions.
• Comprehensive Diagnostics: Evaluates patients using advanced techniques for articulation, expressive/receptive language, cognition, memory, voice, and literacy.
• Targeted Treatment Planning: Establishes and administers sophisticated treatment plans based on patient evaluations to regain function, continuously assessing effectiveness and modifying as necessary.
• Clinical Documentation: Completes all patient records, billing, and documentation in strict accordance with departmental guidelines and professional standards.
• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

Hourly Pay Range:

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist II - Outpatient - Days


• Location: 9977 Woods Drive, Skokie, IL


• Full-Time - 40 hours (hours may vary between 34-40hrs)


• Hours: M-Th approx. 9am-6:00pm, Fri. 8am-12pm

What you will do:

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to the pediatric patient population with complex or atypical conditions.


• Comprehensive Diagnostics: Evaluates patients using advanced techniques for articulation, expressive/receptive language, cognition, memory, voice, and literacy.

What you will need:

• License: Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required.


• Education: Master's degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association


• Certification: BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association required. Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association.


• Experience: Pediatrics


• Skills: Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) experience preferred.
