Job summary

Mercy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist Fellow to join our team. You will perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for assigned patients, following departmental policies regarding referrals, in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Education requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure in the state of practice. Certification from ASHA within one year and BLS are required; one year of experience in patient care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current or provisional SLP licensure in the applicable state.
• ASHA Certification within 1 year of hire and BLS certification required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans.
• Follow department policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient care.
