Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment programs for assigned patients. You will follow department policies and refer as appropriate, while addressing emergencies as they arise.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current SLP licensure, and ASHA certification within one year. BLS is also required to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license to practice in the applicable state.
• ASHA Certification within 1 year of hire; clinical fellowship supervision may apply.
• BLS certification required; ability to respond to emergencies.
• Certifications must be current before independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies.
• Adheres to referral procedures and participates in care planning.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed.
