Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and CCC-SLP certification.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience with developmental delays and mental health patients.
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and to treat dysphagia.

Responsibilities

• Administers hearing or speech evaluations to determine impairment.
• Communicates with non-speaking clients using sign language or technology.
• Counsels clients and teaches strategies to improve speech.
• Develops speech exercise programs.
• Maintains client records and monitors progress.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs with physicians, nurses, and other health care personnel.
