Job summary

The Therapy Place NJ is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. You will meet with new patients, assess their speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach goals.

You will document all patient care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust goals as needed for best outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, provides compassionate care, and possesses excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time and assess their speech needs.
• Create treatment plans and set short/long-term goals for patients.
• Assist in implementing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure progress.
• Maintain thorough records of patient care, needs, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with families to ensure they have tools for success.
