The Therapy Place NJ is seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. You will meet with new patients, assess their speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach goals. You will document care, observe treatment, and adjust milestones for optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong speech pathology knowledge, compassionate care, and excellent organizational skills to support patients and families through each step of the therapy journey.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey and answer introductory questions.
• Evaluate and create customized treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and adjust as needed for successful outcomes; maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with families to ensure they have knowledge and tools for success.
