Job summary

The Therapy Place NJ is seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. You will meet with new patients, assess their speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach their goals.

You will document all patient care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust goals as needed for the best outcomes. Strong organizational skills and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions.
• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellness.
• Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome.
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success.
