Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an experienced, licensed Speech Therapist to meet with new patients, assess speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help clients reach their goals.

You will document care, observe and participate in therapy, and adjust goals as needed for the best outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, provides compassionate care, and demonstrates excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, setting short and long term goals.
• Assist in implementing the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome.
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success.
