Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. in California is seeking an experienced licensed Speech Therapist to meet with new patients, assess their speech needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to help them reach goals.

You will document all patient care, observe and participate in treatment, adjust milestones as needed, and work closely with patients' families to ensure understanding and tool use for success.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellness
• Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
