Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team. The role involves meeting new patients, assessing speech needs, and creating personalized treatment plans to help patients reach their goals.

You will document care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust milestones as needed to achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining detailed records and effective communication with families.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellness.
• Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome.
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success.
