Grace and Mercy Home Care Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our Therapy department in Buffalo, NY. The role involves evaluating and treating language, voice, and swallowing disorders, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, be licensed in New York, and have at least one year of home care experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and/or audiology.
• Must hold a current NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of one year experience in home care.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat language, voice, and fluency problems.
• Work with patients who have swallowing difficulties.
• Write and follow an individualized treatment plan.
• Plan and conduct speech therapy sessions to aid rehabilitation.
• Coordinate therapy with the rehabilitation team and other providers.
• Evaluate progress and maintain patient records.
