Sanford Home Health provides expert care in Sioux Falls, SD and Vermillion, SD. We serve individuals recently discharged from hospitals or nursing facilities, those needing education on new diagnoses, and others requiring home health services since 1965.

Job Summary

Administers evaluations, tests, and examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients with speech and swallowing disorders. Develops individualized treatment plans, provides speech and language services, monitors disease progression, and adjusts treatments accordingly. Instructs clients in therapeutic exercises, provides consultation, and ensures compliance with standards, policies, and regulations. May treat individuals of all ages, supervise staff, and provide education and training. Work may focus on post-acute, long-term, and home health environments.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level in accordance with state licensure.
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or working towards Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain and maintain required competencies and certifications, including BLS.
