Job Details: Job Location: TUCSON, AZ 85712, Salary Range: $45.00 - $55.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Day.

The Center at Tucson is looking to hire a Speech Therapist now!

Shift Availability: Full time or PRN days. Pay: Full time $45-55/hour, PRN $55/hour, dependent on experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively screen/evaluate patients with possible communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develop appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
• Work closely with patients, family members and other care team members to adequately plan for patient needs, including short‑term and long‑term goals.

Qualifications

• Possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
• Possess a current and valid Speech Therapist license.
• Possess a current and valid CPR certification.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check and drug test.
• 1 year’s experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
