Overview

Speech Therapist – Acts Retirement-Life Communities is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position. This is a per diem opportunity in a community setting with an emphasis on prevention and holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations and planning individual treatment programs and goals.
• Deliver actual treatments and participate in discharge planning, along with other related duties as required.
• Grow professionally through opportunities provided within the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• An active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
• A valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
• Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment (preferred)

Additional Information

Salary: $42.50 - $65.00 per hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
