The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
The SLP conducts assessments, develops personalized treatment plans, provides direct therapy, documents progress, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates residents, families, and staff, supervises assistants, and ensures compliance with regulations.
