Job description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

The SLP conducts assessments, develops personalized treatment plans, provides direct therapy, documents progress, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, educates residents, families, and staff, supervises assistants, and ensures compliance with regulations.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure in Oregon (or applicable state)
  • Preferred CCC-SLP; CFY candidates considered
  • Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
