Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• CFY considered for this position.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License required.
• Strong problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbal communication, basic computer skills, independence and listening skills.
• Physical requirements: stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk/move frequently, lift up to 20 lbs.

What Your Day Looks Like:In this role, you will work with residents to providetherapies aimed at improvingcognitive, speech, and language deficits.

As a Speech Therapist, you will be:

• Establishingan effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others
• Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.***Willing to consider someone who is in their CFYperiod for this position!***

Experience:1 year of experience preferred

• Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
