Job Summary

Join a compassionate, collaborative team dedicated to helping children and families achieve stronger communication, independence, and quality of life. This full‑time Speech Language Pathologist provides advanced pediatric speech‑language pathology services to children from birth to 18 in outpatient and early intervention settings, assessing, planning, and delivering evidence‑based family‑centered interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, assess, and synthesize speech and language profiles using functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, observations, checklists, histories, and interviews; produce comprehensive written reports to inform treatment planning.
  • Plan, implement, and modify individualized therapy targeting receptive/expressive communication, oral‑motor planning, verbal behavior, social language/interaction, and play skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, families, schools, and community providers to coordinate care and support client goals.
  • Develop and deliver education for parents, teachers, and professionals; participate in program development and implementation of educational series as appropriate.
  • Manage caseload and time effectively, maintain documentation per Clinical Records Department procedures, and comply with HIPAA and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Participate in required meetings, contribute to program evaluation and data collection, and seek supervisory guidance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Credential Requirements
  • Valid Missouri license to practice speech‑language pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP). Credentials must be in good standing.
  • Knowledge of pediatric speech‑language professional literature and evidence‑based practice preferred.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and establish professional relationships by phone and in person.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, documentation, and group communication.
  • Ability to follow direction, accept supervision, and incorporate constructive feedback.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, adaptability, and initiative in changing job demands.
  • Successful completion of background checks as required.
  • Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record and auto insurance if role requires travel.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation and required trainings (including Relias) at hire and annually thereafter.
Physical Requirements

Frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods; occasional walking for field activities. Frequent use of hands and fingers for writing, typing, and computer/mouse use. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
