Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CFY candidates considered for this position.
• Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Missouri SLP license is required or in process.

• Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 7:30 AM - 4:00PM

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team of professionals at the Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like:

In this role, you will work with residents to providetherapies aimed at improvingcognitive, speech, and language deficits.

As a Speech Therapist, you will be:

• Establishingan effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
• Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others
• Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
• Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes

Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Experience:1 year of experience preferred

• Licensure/Certification: Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts; Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License
• Skills:Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbalcommunication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills
• Physical Requirements: Stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk and move frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
