Southeast Rehab in North Easton is seeking a per diem Speech Therapist to join our 171-bed skilled nursing facility.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, and deliver direct treatments across individual, supervised, and group settings. A Massachusetts license is required, with SNF experience preferred, and compensation is up to $58 per hour with weekly pay.

Formación

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (B.S. or M.S.) required.
• Must hold a Massachusetts license as a speech therapist.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Screens patients/residents.
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.
• May perform administrative duties such as overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, and ordering supplies.
• Under physician orders, provides direct resident treatments per plan of care in individual, supervised and group settings.
• Contributes to team meetings and program decision-making.
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies with supervisor, and documents activities in the clinical system.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

Southeast Rehab in North Easton is hiring per diem Speech Therapists!

Up to $58 an hour with weekly pay, depending on standard hours.

As a Speech Therapist, you provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload at our 171-bed skilled nursing facility.Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy required.
• Must possess a speech therapist license in Massachusetts.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Screens patients/residents.
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.
• May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.
• Under a physician's order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venue includes individual, supervised and group.
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Documents activities according to the company's clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
