Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients regain their communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities. You are responsible for delivering effective rehab services, designing treatment plans, and working with patients to implement those plans.

You are a healer and a helper, dedicated to addressing the whole patient and tailoring programs to restore, reinforce, and improve their speech and communication skills.

You adapt to patient needs and find joy in the variety of work and settings, from equipment cleaning to report writing and meetings. You thrive in a dynamic environment that keeps you moving throughout your day.

You collaborate with your peers and make referrals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

You also serve as a teacher, training patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similar field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Candidates eligible to obtain this certificate are also accepted.
  • Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range: USD $42.00 - USD $48.00 /Hr.
