Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you help patients regain their communication and swallowing abilities. You are responsible for delivering effective and efficient rehab services, designing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with patients to execute those plans.

You are a healer and a helper, dedicated to addressing the whole patient as an individual. Your goal is to develop programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication skills.

You are adaptable to patient needs, finding joy in varied work settings—from equipment cleaning to reporting and meetings. You thrive in a dynamic environment that keeps you active throughout the day.

As a team player, you collaborate with peers and make referrals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

You view your role as a teacher, training patients and caregivers to promote independence and productivity.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similar field accepted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• A Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Candidates eligible to obtain the certificate are also considered.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
