Job summary

Htprof in Centerburg, Ohio is seeking a Speech Therapist for full-time positions in outpatient and pediatrics settings. Positions offer daytime hours, with a 8am–5:30pm or 8am–6pm schedule, and a sign-on bonus with a full benefits package.

You'll provide screenings, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions, building treatment plans per doctor referrals while collaborating with the care team. Expect a diverse caseload and community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Current State of Ohio Licensure.
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed.
• Current CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Perform 1-hour evaluations; adults and pediatrics with co-treatment when applicable.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.

Hours and compensation potential:

• Positions are full time. One is for the Outpatient area and schedule is 8am-5:30pm. One position is for the Pediatrics area and schedule is 8am-6pm(most Peds therapists work 4-10 hrs days). Day off is Tues; Wed or Thurs.
• Range is between $36hr(74880)-$42hr(87360) depending on experience. Full benefit package included and a sign on bonus being offered.

What you will be doing:

• Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral.
• Excellent internal personal skills with all ages and socio-economic status.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Evaluations are 1 hour:
  Adult: will see 8-9 patients(treatments can range from 30-45 mins).
  Peds: will see 8-10 patients daily and treatments can range from 30-45 mins; there is a lot of co-treatment with Occupational Therapy.
• Since we are small community hospital person will see just about any diagnosis.
