Job summary

Highland Park Rehabilitation and Care Center in Aurora, CO, seeks a Colorado Licensed Speech Language Therapist to join a large therapy team and grow our Speech Therapy Services. The role focuses on assessment, planning, and implementation to maximize patient potential in LTC, post-acute rehab, dementia care, and outpatient clinic settings.

Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork within a multidisciplinary IDT, and a passion for helping residents reach communication,

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid Colorado licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • SNF experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Support patients and their families with therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing function and independence.
  • Be proficient in functional based interventions and developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and IDT.

Come join our large friendly, supportive, compassionate and committed therapy team of Full-Time and Part Time in house Therapists including OT/OTA/PT/PTA and ST looking to grow with similar minded caring individuals that want to be a part of something special.

We are looking for a Colorado Licensed Speech Language Therapist (CFY's may apply) to join our large team that is seeking to further grow our Speech Therapy Services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve their maximum potential. This role involves working in Long-Term Care, Post Acute Rehab, Dementia Care and emerging in-house outpatient clinic.
