Responsibilities

Responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician. Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in speech‑language pathology required.
  • Active license to practice speech‑language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action – or Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP‑CFs) to be considered on a case‑by‑case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
Pay Transparency

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $XX.00 to $XX.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
