Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, design, and deliver customized speech and language therapy plans for patients. You will assess progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment as needed to help patients communicate more effectively.

You will join a patient-centered team at a nationally recognized rehabilitation provider, dedicated to compassionate care, professional growth, and high-quality outcomes for diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
