Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehab setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized therapy using evidence-based practices.

Current licensure as an SLP with CCC and CPR is required; Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC-SLP certification completed or in process.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
