Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. You will work with a nationally recognized rehabilitation leader to develop personalized treatment plans and monitor progress using cutting-edge therapy techniques.

Qualified candidates will hold current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR or be willing to obtain CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred

Bachelor's degree with field experience

CCC certification (ACCS/CCC)
