Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to diagnose, treat, and support patients with speech and language disorders.

You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and document progress, contributing to a team focused on high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care. A valid state license, CCC, and CPR are required or obtained soon after hire, with a master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or in progress if applicable.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy approaches as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient successes and adapt plans to maximize outcomes.
